For a long time, the Wish-Ender quest has remained popular among Destiny 2 players seeking to dominate high-end content like Grandmaster Nightfalls, Master Raids, and Dungeons. Its appeal lies in the bow's powerful damage potential, enhanced by a 40% global buff to Exotic Weapons against red bar enemies and its unique ability to pierce through barrier shields with a single arrow.

However, new players often face confusion when trying to start the wish ender quest. There is no vendor offering the questline, and it’s not found in the Exotic Kiosk either. That’s where this guide steps in—to show you exactly how to begin and complete the quest, along with suggestions on what to pair with this powerful bow.

Where to Find the Wish-Ender Quest in 2025?

    wish ender quest

If you’ve purchased the Forsaken expansion, your first stop should be the Tower. Head to the Quest Archive and open the Exotic tab. There, you should see the wish ender quest. Accept it to begin your journey.

If the quest isn’t visible, inspect your inventory for x3 Dreaming Tokens. If they are already present, it means you’ve completed the first phase of the quest and now must proceed to charge these tokens.

1st Step of the Wish Ender Quest - Talisman Presented

Your first objective in the wish ender quest is to enter the Shattered Throne Dungeon within the Dreaming City. Fortunately, you don't need to clear the entire dungeon. The quest requires completion of two specific encounters.

The first encounter resembles a maze where you'll defeat bosses in symbol-marked zones. A glowing icon will guide you to the correct boss after the first one falls.

Once all bosses are defeated, a route opens to the next stage: a fight with Vorgeth, The Boundless Hunger. Here, you’ll need to eliminate four witches stationed across the room. Killing a witch generates a glowing sphere that grants you the Petitioner's Mark buff, lasting 40 seconds.

To keep the buff active, you must gather four of them total, which then convert into the Petitioner's Burden. Placing this burden on any of the four altars strips Vorgeth's shield, allowing you to deal damage.

Defeating Vorgeth leads you to a statue holding three cups. Listen to its full monologue, after which you’ll be rewarded with x3 Dreaming Tokens.

At this point, your next task in the wish ender quest is to charge those tokens. Sadly, this means restarting the Shattered Throne Dungeon from the beginning.

2nd Step of the Wish Ender Bow Quest - Dreaming Tokens

To progress, you need to empower each of the Dreaming Tokens by inserting four relics into designated statues throughout the dungeon. Here’s how to find each one:

    Dreaming Token of Equirim

The relic is located near the first encounter, above the dragon-symbol tower. Use the statue behind the tower to access it. Then, scale the building where the first boss appeared and insert the relic into the statue missing a sphere. Afterward, defeat the spawned boss and move to the next relic’s location.

    Dreaming Token of Eriviks

The first relic is on the bridge section filled with Taken Ogres—on the rightmost end. We recommend clearing the Ogres before picking up the relic. Deliver it to a nearby statue in the same zone.

The second relic appears in the slow-field area. After the initial turn, look to the right and grab the relic. Continue through the area and jump down to find the statue to the right. If you’ve placed both relics correctly, gates will open, allowing you to fight a mini-boss that charges the second token.

If the gates don’t open, it means either one relic was placed incorrectly or you died during delivery.

    Dreaming Token of Xavoth

The final token in the wish ender quest is the most difficult to charge. It follows the same mechanics as Vorgeth’s fight—kill witches, gather buffs, and place the Petitioner's Burden.

However, instead of defeating Vorgeth right away, look to the right of the arena exit to find a red bar Minotaur. Kill it to spawn a relic. Deliver this to the statue on the left side of the arena entrance. Then, defeat the mini-boss and finally Vorgeth himself to complete this stage.

Is Wish-Ender Good and What to Use with It

    wish ender

Currently, the Wish-Ender bow ranks among the top-tier weapons for Grandmaster Nightfalls and other endgame activities. It excels in one-shotting red bar enemies from across the map and effortlessly piercing Barrier Shields.

Its biggest competitor is The Arbalest, which uses Special Ammo but is effective against all shield types. The main downside of Wish-Ender is its slow rate of fire, making it less ideal for clearing mobs, especially in close quarters.

To counter this, you should pair it with suitable secondary weapons that can handle crowd control and close-range threats:

If you’re missing any of these options and want to strengthen your arsenal, you can use the Legendary Weapons Boost service from Gamer Choice. This ensures fast acquisition of god-roll weapons with guaranteed results.

    Conclusion

To summarize the wish ender quest experience, here are its primary strengths and weaknesses:

    Pros:

    • High precision damage, allowing you to one-shot most red bar enemies and 1-2 shot orange bar ones in endgame content.
    • Barrier Shield penetration eliminates the need for Anti-Barrier mods or weapons.
    • Solo-obtainable, making it perfect for players without a regular fireteam.
    • Extremely long-range usability, allowing for safe, tactical gameplay.

    Cons:

    • Being a kinetic weapon limits build synergy. You'll need a complementary special weapon for effective combos.
    • Low fire rate makes it inefficient for ad-clear, especially in chaotic scenarios.

Overall, the Wish-Ender bow remains one of the most dependable exotics in Destiny 2. If you're ready to tailor your loadout accordingly, it can carry you through nearly any content tier with ease. With its infinite primary ammo and superior damage, it's a go-to choice for players aiming for high-end PvE dominance.

We hope this guide has clarified how to complete the wish ender quest and make full use of this powerful weapon in Destiny 2.
